DOHA, Qatar - Qatar's Mubarak Hassan Shami wins the gold medal in the men's marathon at the Asian Games on Dec. 10. ''I'm very happy to win a gold medal for this country,'' said the Kenyan-born Shami, who negotiated the 42.195-kilometer course in 2 hours, 12 minutes, 44 seconds. (Kyodo)
