Defense force officer arrested over confidential data leak

TOKYO, Japan - The photo taken in Yokosuka, south of Tokyo, on Sept. 20, 2007 shows Maritime Self-Defense Force Lt. Com. Sumitaka Matsuura, who was arrested on Dec. 13 for allegedly taking materials, including highly confidential data, from the computer system taskforce in the U.S. Aegis defense system, in violation of Japan's bilateral agreement with the United States.
