Mitsubishi Motors, former execs found not guilty over coverup

YOKOHAMA, Japan - Takashi Usami (R), former vice president of Mitsubishi and former chairman of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corp., Tadashi Koshikawa (C), Mitsubishi's former operating officer, and Akio Hanawa, former executive director at Mitsubishi, head for the Yokohama District Court in Yokohama on Dec. 13 to hear the court's ruling on them. The court found Mitsubishi Motors and the three men not guilty on charges related to falsifying defect reports on its truck wheel hubs, which resulted in a fatal accident in Yokohama in January 2002.
