JAC plane overruns runway while touching down at Izumo Airport

MATSUE, Japan - A Japan Air Commuter plane from Osaka rests at Izumo Airport in Shimane Prefecture on Dec. 18 after it overran the runway upon landing at the airport after its front tires burst and came off. Airport officials said thirty-four passengers and three crew members were on board the plane but no one was injured. (Kyodo)
