Destroyer primary cause of collision with boat: tribunal

YOKOHAMA, Japan - Ken Funato (R), then the skipper of the Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyer Atago, and others involved in the case of a fatal collision between the destroyer and fishing boat Seitoku Maru in February last year attend a Yokohama Marine Accident Tribunal session on Jan. 22. The tribunal determined that the destroyer was the main cause of the collision off Chiba Prefecture. (Kyodo)
