2 supermarket chains resume selling U.S. beef

SAPPORO, Japan - A customer checks out U.S. beef products at an outlet of supermarket chain operator Cowboy Co. in Sapporo on Dec. 26 as the company started selling 200 kilograms of U.S. beef, including sirloin and tongue, at its four outlets in the city. Marunaka Co., a supermarket chain operator based in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture, also resumed selling U.S. beef. (Kyodo)
