'Feather' men dance at spring festival in Gifu

NAGOYA, Japan - A group of men with four-meter-high bamboo ''feathers'' strapped to their backs dance with drums during a festival at Tanigumisankegon Temple in the town of Ibigawa, Gifu Prefecture, on Feb. 18. The dancers swung from side to side and twirled to the music, fanning tourists with the ''feathers'' in the festival to mark the start of spring. (Kyodo)
