Hiroshima hospital apologizes for boy's death from injection

HIROSHIMA, Japan - Toru Hidaka (forefront), director of Hiroshima Asa municipal hospital, and other senior hospital staff bow in apology at a news conference at the Hiroshima city hall on March 17 after a 16-year-old boy died at the hospital following an error in injection. A nurse injected a central nervous system depressant into the boy's vein allegedly because she failed to properly read the doctor's prescription. (Kyodo)
