BEIJING, China - Deputies of the Chinese National People's Congress discuss a draft antisecession law at a panel March 8, which was opened to reporters. The draft law, a major focus of the current 10-day parliamentary session that opened March 5, would give legal backing to China's possible taking of 'nonpeaceful means' against Taiwan. (Kyodo)
