Nepal votes in election to cap peace process
KATHMANDU, Nepal - Nepalese people come to a voting center in Kathmandu on April 10 to exercise their franchise in the country's first national election in nine years. More than 17.6 million people are eligible to cast votes to elect a constituent assembly that will write a new constitution, end the 240-year monarchy and effect fundamental changes in administrative and political setup of the country.
