N. Korea's No. 2 says 2002 pact with Japan key to solving proble

PYONGYANG, North Korea - Kim Yong Nam (R), president of North Korea's Supreme People's Assembly, is in talks with Kyodo News President Satoshi Ishikawa in the Mansudae Assembly Hall in Pyongyang on April 14. The country's No. 2 leader said that its problems with Japan, including a bitter row over the North's past abduction of Japanese nationals, should be solved through a 2002 pact signed by their two leaders.
