Man nabbed over murder of Fukuoka elderly woman
FUKUOKA, Japan - Suguru Noji, who is suspected of stabbing an elderly woman to death in Fukuoka, western Japan, lowers his head as he was taken to a police station in a police vehicle April 15. Noji, 22, was arrested the same day for allegedly murdering and robbing Hisako Tanaka, 78, as well as possessing a knife in violation of the firearm and sword control law. He admitted to killing the woman and also hinted at his involvement in the March 25 stabbing of another woman in the city, according to police. (Kyodo)
