Ex-education ministry official arrested over alleged bribe-takin
TOKYO, Japan - Tokyo Metropolitan Police agents show up at the education ministry on April 4 to search for incriminating evidence after Hiroshi Oshima, 59, former chief of the ministry's Facilities Planning and Administration Department, was arrested on suspicion of receiving bribes from a construction firm in return for favorable consideration on a facility improvement project for a national university.
