77-yr Japanese yachtsman abandons nonstop around-the-world voyag
OSAKA, Japan - Ikuo Kashima, a 77-year-old Japanese yachtsman, has given up an attempt to become the oldest man to sail nonstop around the world solo, asking to be rescued off Tasmania Island, Australia, his supporters said on May 5.
