S. Korea lawmaker slams Koizumi's Yasukuni Shrine visits
SEOUL, South Korea - Kim Geun Tae, a senior member of South Korea's ruling Uri Party, speaks in an interview with Kyodo News in Seoul on May 6. Kim criticized Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi for repeatedly visiting war-related Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo. ''If things go wrong, there is a danger (the visits) would cause serious conflicts and confrontation in East Asia in the present and the future,'' he said. (Kyodo)
