Japan's Olympic marathon runner Nagata dies at 53
TOKYO, Japan - File photo taken in January 1985 shows Nanae Nagata, one of the groundbreakers in women's marathon in Japan who ran in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Nagata died June 27 at age 53 after a two-year battle against rectum cancer, people close to her said June 29. (Kyodo)
