Renovation under way in Pyongyang ahead of 60th anniversary
PYONGYANG, North Korea - Builders in North Korea have restarted work at the giant Ryugyong Hotel for the first time since construction ceased on the concrete skyscraper in 1992 due to financial difficulties. Renovation of buildings and roads is under way in Pyongyang ahead of the 60th anniversary of N. Korea's foundation in September. (Kyodo)
