14 taken to hospital after ship explosion
YAMAGUCHI, Japan - A photo taken on July 10 shows the Panamanian-registered car carrier Gruz, in which 14 people suffered burns and were taken to hospital following an explosion in the engine room. The 45,000-ton ship is berthed at a dockyard of Shin Kasado Dockyard Co., a shipbuilder and ship-repair firm based in Kudamatsu, Yamaguchi Prefecture. (Kyodo)
