S. Korea halts tours to N. Korea resort
SEOUL, South Korea - A Unification Ministry spokesman announces at a press conference July 11 that the government has decided to temporarily suspend tours to North Korea's scenic Mt. Geumgang from July 12. A 53-year-old South Korean female tourist was shot dead by a North Korean soldier July 11 after she strayed into an off-limits military zone at the mountain resort. (Kyodo)
