Japanese voters overseas go to polls for upper-house election
SEOUL, South Korea - A Japanese woman marks her ballot in the House Of Councillors election at a polling station opened at the Japanese Embassy in Seoul on July 13 ahead of the official voting date of July 29 in Japan. The upper house election is the first in which Japanese voters abroad are allowed to vote for both candidates in prefectural constituencies and the nationwide proportional representation blocks, following changes in election regulations.
