4 dead in violent election protests in Mongolian capital: local T
ULAN BATOR, Mongolia - Vehicles torched by supporters of the opposition Democratic Party on July 1 over alleged fraud in the parliamentary election held over the weekend are left on a street in Ulan Bator on July 2. According to Mongolian public TV, four people died and about 400 policemen were injured in violent protests that erupted on July 1. (Kyodo)
