Kobe residents anxious about stranded wild boar piglets
KOBE, Japan - Four wild boar piglets are seen stranded on a riverbank of a residential area in Kobe's Chuo Ward in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture on July 4. As many as eight boar piglets, of which one was dead, have been seen since around June 26 on the bank of the shallow Kitsune River, which is about 5 meters wide and enclosed by 6-meter-high concrete levees, drawing concern from neighborhood residents.
