150 people hold anti-G8 summit rally in Hokkaido
TOYAKO, Japan - Members of civic groups march in the township of Sobetsu, Hokkaido, on July 7 to express opposition to the Group of Eight summit meeting, which began the same day at the nearby Lake Toya resort. About 150 people took part in the rally, accusing G-8 countries of widening the gap between the rich and the poor. (Kyodo)
