JR West president indicted over deadly derailment in 2005
OSAKA, Japan - Masao Yamazaki, president of West Japan Railway Co., speaks at a news conference in Osaka on July 8 after being indicted over a train derailment in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, in 2005 that left 107 people dead and 562 injured. Yamazaki expressed his intention to step down. (Kyodo)
