YANAI, Japan - The South Korean-flagged freighter Pine Pia sustained damage in its stem when the vessel collided with the Cyprus-registered freighter Asia Concerto in waters some 4 kilometers south of Heigun Island, Yamaguchi Prefecture, on Aug. 10.
