KYOTO, Japan - A fire is lit on a mountain in Kyoto in the shape of the Chinese character ''dai'' (large) on Aug. 16, 2010 to bid farewell to the souls of ancestors that folk belief says return to world during the summer ''Bon'' season. (Kyodo)
