Renowned Japanese fashion model Yamaguchi dies

TOKYO, Japan - Internationally known Japanese fashion model and actress Sayoko Yamaguchi gets her dress checked by designer Kansai Yamamoto in a photo taken in November 1982. Yamacuchi died of acute pneumonia on Aug. 14, her promotion office said on Aug. 20. She is thought to have been 57, though her age was not confirmed by her office. (Kyodo)
