Canon to release new entry-level digital SLR in Sept.

TOKYO, Japan - Canon Inc. said Aug. 24 it will release a new entry-level digital single-lens reflex camera on Sept. 8, hoping to bring its domestic market share back to more than 50 percent. The EOS Kiss Digital X camera will have a 10.1 million pixel CMOS sensor and work with as many as 60 lenses, Canon said. (Kyodo)
