Ex-Nova president sentenced to 3.5 yrs in prison for embezzlement
OSAKA, Japan - Nozomu Sahashi, the founder and former president of English conversation school operator Nova Corp., gets inside a car after being freed on bail Aug. 26. Sahashi was sentenced by the Osaka District Court the same day to three years and six months in prison without suspension for embezzling 320 million yen from Nova's employment benefit funds. (Kyodo)
