Sony unveils world's slimmest LCD TV
TOKYO, Japan - Photo shows the ''world's thinnest and lightest'' 40-inch liquid crystal display television, which Sony Corp. unveiled in Tokyo on Aug. 28. The company said it will launch the new television in November as part of the fall and winter lineup of its popular Bravia series. The new ZX1 has an ultra slim screen that is just 9.9-millimeters thick and weighs only 12.2 kilograms. (Kyodo)
