School-turned-French art museum opens in Hokkaido
SAPPORO, Japan - This June 2, 2009 file photo shows the closed Taiyo Elementary School in the rural Hokkaido town of Niikappu. The buildings were renovated as a museum featuring the works of French artist Gerard Di-Maccio, which opened Aug. 5, 2010. (Kyodo)
