Diner frequented by the late Salinger
CORNISH, United States - Jamie Ockington (R) is seen working at the Windsor Diner on July 23, 2010, where she used to serve the late writer J.D. Salinger as a teenager, in Cornish, New Hampshire. Ockington talked about efforts by residents in the town to shield the legendary writer from curious outsiders and even said she had pretended not to know who he was when he came to eat breakfast two times a week at the diner.
