Miura likely to be taken from Saipan to Los Angeles Sept. 18

SAIPAN, Northern Mariana Islands - Prosecutors explain during a news conference in Saipan on Sept. 15 how to transfer Japanese businessman Kazuyoshi Miura to Los Angeles from Saipan where he has been detained since February in connection with the fatal shooting of his wife in the city in the early 1980s. A local court in Saipan ruled Sept. 12 that Miura be transferred to Los Angeles over the case. (Kyodo)
