LDP Secretary General Aso elected LDP president

TOKYO, Japan - Taro Aso (C), secretary general of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, joins hands with outgoing Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda (3rd from L) and four other candidates in the LDP presidential election at the party's headquarters on Sept. 22 after winning the LDP leadership race.
