Memorial service for police dogs held at Tokyo pets cemetery
TOKYO, Japan - Attended by three police dogs and joined by 40 police officers, Yasuo Nishizawa, head of the Identification Division of the Metropolitan Police Department, prays before the MPD tomb for police dogs during a memorial service at a pets cemetery in Tokyo on Sept. 23. A total of 186 police dogs and security dogs, including four that have died so far this year, have been buried in the cemetery. (Kyodo)
