MSDF plane ends up in rice field, no one injured
FUKUOKA, Japan - A Maritime Self-Defense Force transport plane ended up in a rice field on Sept. 28, 2009, after overrunning a runway at Ozuki air base in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture. The 11 MSDF officers aboard the plane and residents near the base were not injured in the incident. (Kyodo)
