Early-morning subway accident disrupts Tokyo commute
TOKYO, Japan - Commuters stand in long lines waiting for buses during the rush-hour on Sept. 9, 2009, outside Kasai Station on the Tokyo Metro Co.'s Tozai Line after the commute in and around the Tokyo downtown area was disrupted by an accident at a station on the line. A railway maintenance train bumped into an unoccupied passenger train at 4:08 a.m. at Toyocho Station where the 10-car train was parked ahead of its service, but no one was injured in the collision.
