Yokohama opens media center for World Cup

YOKOHAMA, Japan - The city of Yokohama, where the final match of the 2002 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be held June 30, opened the Yokohama Media Information (YMI) facility to help journalists cover the World Cup in Yokohama's Nishi Ward on May 10. The YMI facility will provide working spaces for freelance journalists who are not permitted to enter the International Media Center.
