Peace-themed poster donated to Hiroshima
Photo taken at the Hiroshima city government headquarters on July 9, 2021, shows art director Takuya Onuki, 63, explaining his peace-themed poster titled "Hiroshima," which the Japan Graphic Design Association donated to the western Japan city, showing a white dove and black powder in a snow dome. With the work using augmented reality technology, if a smartphone is held up over the poster, black powder, representing black rain after the atomic bombing, can be seen falling in the snow dome.
