President Macron visits wildfire area - Le Luc

French President Emmanuel Macron and Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin visit the SDIS (Departmental fire and rescue service) and firefighters headquarter in Le Luc, near Saint-Tropez, southern France on August 17, 2021. Hundreds of French firefighters battled a raging blaze near the Mediterranean resort of Saint-Tropez on August 17, 2021, with thousands of residents and holidaymakers forced to evacuate. Roughly 750 firefighters using high-pressure hoses and water-dropping aircraft were attempting to control the flames, which began racing through a nature reserve on August 16, evening.
