Novelist, Buddhist nun Setouchi dies at 99

File photo taken in October 2015 shows Japanese Buddhist nun and novelist Jakucho Setouchi preaching at Tendai-ji temple in Ninohe in Iwate Prefecture, northeastern Japan. Setouchi, who was also active in anti-war and anti-nuclear movements, died of heart failure on Nov. 9, 2021, at age 99.
