Kenta Izumi elected new leader of Japan's main opposition party
New Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan leader Kenta Izumi attends a press conference in Tokyo on Nov. 30, 2021, after winning a party leadership election earlier in the day. Izumi beat Seiji Osaka, a former special adviser to the prime minister, in a runoff held after voting on four contenders.
