★Princess of Asturias, Leonor de Borbón, presents the award to athlete Teresa Perales during the 2021 Princess of Asturias Awards Ceremony at the Campoamor Theatre, October 22, 2021, in Oviedo, Asturias, Spain. This edition, which takes place with a capacity limited to 60 percent, is marked by the recognition of seven scientists for their efforts in the development in record time of some of the vaccines against Covid-19.
