CHINA-QUANZHOU-EUROPE-FREIGHT TRAIN ROUTE-OPENING (CN)
(220118) -- QUANZHOU, Jan. 18, 2022 (Xinhua) -- A China-Europe freight train heading for Moscow leaves Quanzhou, southeast China's Fujian Province, Jan. 18, 2022. A new cargo train, loaded with 445 tonnes of goods, departed from Quanzhou and headed for Moscow Tuesday morning. This is the first China-Europe freight train route from Quanzhou, which is an important starting point on the Maritime Silk Road. The train is scheduled to reach Moscow, Russia, via the border station of Manzhouli in about 20 days, saving 25 days compared with maritime shipping. (Xinhua/Wei Peiquan)
