(220202) -- HAIKOU, Feb. 2, 2022 (Xinhua) -- Waterbirds fly over Danzhou Bay Wetland in Danzhou, south China's Hainan Province, Jan. 26, 2022. World Wetlands Day is marked annually on Feb. 2. South China's Hainan Island has launched a survey of waterbirds wintering across the island. In the survey, 32,866 waterbirds of 71 species were observed, setting a new record over the years.
