STORYLINE:
Turkish nationals evacuated from Ukraine began arriving in Turkey by land on Sunday morning.
After the outbreak of the Russian military operation, due to the closure of Ukrainian airspace and the southern port of Odessa, from the evening of Feb. 25, the Turkish government began to evacuate the remaining 15,000 nationals from Ukraine by land.
Turkish nationals were first evacuated from Ukraine's western and southwestern borders to three neighboring countries of Moldova, Romania and Poland, and then the Turkish government took them back by land.
