42-year-old Wang Chuanshu has earned himself the nickname "rural buyer" thanks to his farm products collecting door-to-door in his hometown.
Wang is a villager of Changxi Village of Jiazi Township in Haikou, capital of south China's Hainan Province. After collecting the products, Wang would help the farmers to sell the products via an e-commerce platform.
People in Jiazi make a living through rubber plantation, vegetable and sweet lime fruit farming, livestock rearing, among others.
In the past, locals like Wang could hardly sell their agricultural products outside their hometown due to low yield and the region's remote location.
