Russian Ministry of Defense on March 5 announced that, Russian forces will observe truce in Ukraine starting 10:00 Moscow time (0700 GMT) on Saturday to facilitate the evacuation of civilians via humanitarian corridors.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz Friday that Russia is open to dialogue with Ukraine.
Putin hoped that Kiev would take a "reasonable and constructive stance" during a third round of talks between Russia and Ukraine.
According to Ukrainian Presidential Advisor Mykhailo Podolyak, the third round of peace talks between Ukraine and Russia may take place on Saturday or Sunday.
