STORYLINE:
In a speech before thousands of supporters on Tuesday, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban displayed confidence in his ability to win a fourth consecutive term in power at the country's general elections on April 3.
"We have to win these elections, and we will triumph," Orban claimed in the speech on Hungary's national holiday, marking the anniversary of the 1848 revolution against the Austrian Empire.
Rather than focusing on historic events, Orban used the occasion to concentrate on the upcoming elections.
"Neither the war, nor the left (the United Opposition) can divert us from our path," he said.
