I'm still living in Ukraine, in a town about 60 km from the capital city. Today is March 16. We have been living amid explosions and air raid sirens for nearly 20 days. This part of the town is relatively safe. Though we have heard explosions, we have not come under direct impact of them. But as Russian troops gradually close in on Kiev, air raid sirens have sounded more frequently. Previously we would hear the sirens for once or twice a day, but now we'd hear them four to five times a day. It's relatively quiet during the daytime, but the sirens at night have been very harsh.
